37 million choral singers in Europe

The final report of the research project ”Europe sings” has been published. Based on two years of research and through innovative research report shows that 4.5% of the European population participate actively in collective singing activities. This corresponds to 37 million collective singers on the European continent, gathered in about 1 million choirs or ensembles.


The report therefore shows that choral singing gives singers the direct benefits in terms of social inclusion, health and cultural development.
